The more time you put in, the more productive you’ll be, right? Actually, our cognitive limit for focus work is just 3-4 hours/day.

Schedule 3 hours for your highest priority at the time of day when you have the most energy, and get into the zone by:

📆 Moving any calls
🎧 Creating a distraction-free space by pausing notifications
🚀 Defining a timeboxed progress goal and working towards it

#💥 3 quick tasks

Urgent tasks can derail your plan, and tasks that you’ve been avoiding can weigh you down. Questions on Slack, emails: these don’t need focused energy, so pick 3 quick tasks to tackle after you take care of your top priority.
 
You’ll feel much better when they’re out of the way.

There are some tasks we have to do just to keep things moving: preparing content for creators, cleaning up tech debt for engineers, or just chores at home or finally setting up that doctor's appointment.

Pick 3 maintenance tasks that you’ve been putting off, and timebox 2-3 hours.

There will always be urgent situations and surprises, and it might take a little practice to define your productive day and stick to it. Write down your 3-3-3 plan for tomorrow and the rest of the week, then review and adjust at the end of each day.
